Breaking Free's mission is to provide help, encouragement and resourceful information to families as they walk through life's trials through our offering a free bi-monthly magazine for families and an academic and arts summer camp for students.
Our vision is to offer the highest level of information to families, adults, children, parents and teens. Our focus is to promote social, emotional and physical well-being. Our desire is to encourage our readers to be life-long learners. By providing information, Breaking Free can give hope that is necessary to thrive and live victoriously in an ever changing world. Breaking Free is a non profit organization that uses advertising dollars to give academic tutoring and therapies to youth in SW Florida. The camp, which is the seed of Breaking Free, raises money for students failing and those with learning disablilites to receive tutoring through our 5 week intensive academic and arts summer program taught by local school teachers. To date, we have sponsored over 300 youth in Lee County.
